2024 Pre-College Residential Life Staff

Antonio Reid, Residence Director   Antonio Reid, Resident Director

Hi! My name is Antonio. I am currently a Resident Director at Albany College of
Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I spent 4
years at SUNY Fredonia where I majored in sport management and psychology. I like
watching TV and movies, sports (especially soccer), playing video games and spending
   time with my friends.

Tiffany Herrera  Tiffany Herrera, Assistant Resident Director

My name is Tiffany and I graduated with the class of 2023 with a degree in Biology. I’m
from Chicago, Il and currently work as a Toxicology Laboratory Assistant at a clinical
testing lab. I like to swim and watch Harry Potter movies when I have free time. During
my time at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, I was part of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê’s First Year Experience Program that took
a group of 30 students to London our first semester. I was also an RA for 2 years. I am
excited to become part of this program because I was a pre-college student myself
back in 2017 and I learned a lot about independence and responsibility. I’m sure you all
will learn different skills during your time here that will be helpful to your future careers. I am excited to meet all of you and look forward to us all having a good summer at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê!

Qavalina Andrade   Qavalina Andrade, Resident/Academic Assistant

Hi! My name is Qavalina, I'm from India and I'm a rising senior at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê. I'm an
International Affairs major with minors in Business and Anthropology. In my free time
I really enjoy painting, travelling, anything involving the beach (surfing, diving, etc.)
and hanging out with my friends. I chose to be a Pre-College mentor because I did a
pre-college program before Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê and my mentors were instrumental in making
my experience enriching and fun. I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences as
well as hearing about yours, and helping you make the most of your time in this
   program!

Grace Geurin Pre-College RA  Grace Geurin, Resident/Academic Assistant

Hi! My name is Grace and I’m a graduating senior! I’m a political science major and
environmental studies minor from Niskayuna, New York. At Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, I’m involved in
Environmental Action Club and Pre-Law Club. In my free time, I love to go hiking, go
swimming, and read. I chose to be a pre-college mentor because I did a similar
program in high school and loved it! I’m excited to act as a resource for students this
  summer.

Gabriela Lebron

   Gabriela Lebron, Resident/Academic Assistant

Hello! My name is Gabriela, and I am a rising senior. I am an Environmental Studies
major, and I am working towards a minor in Biology. I am from New York City! I spent
the Spring 2024 semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and I absolutely loved it!
During my free time, I love to paint, specifically watercolor, and I love making mosaics
too. I’ve also taken up a special interest in photography. I chose to be a pre-college
mentor because this is an opportunity I know is super important for college-
readiness, and I am pumped to be supportive in any ways I can!

Max Restifo-Bernstein   Max Restifo-Bernstein, Resident/Academic Assistant

Hey! My name is Max. I'm a rising senior at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê and just finished my
spring semester abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. I love documentary filmmaking,
as for me it's the perfect intersection of my Sociology major and Film minor. I play
baseball and squash casually and drum in a rock band on campus. I am an
unparalleled Mario Kart player, but terrible at pretty much any other video games. I'm
here to help you guys with all matters related to your transition to college and I am
also particularly useful if you want to learn more about essay writing, the social
sciences, media/film production, and exploring artistic interests in a college setting.
While it may seem stressful at times, the transition from high school to college can be the most amazing exciting experience, and I'm here to help you guys feel comfortable and prepared coming into this new environment.

Dennise Reyes Sanchez   Dennise Reyes Sanchez, Resident/Academic Assistant

Hi everyone! My name is Dennise and I’m a rising junior, majoring in Sociology. I am
from the Bronx, NY, and besides reading sociological articles, I love photography and
to dance. I chose to be a pre-college mentor because I’d love to help you transition
from high school to college life and academics! I look forward to meeting you all.

certification cohort. I chose to be a pre-college mentor to help everyone have as easy a
transition as possible from high school to college. I look forward to meeting everybody!
